Sometimes what appears to be a UFO may be nothing more than cloud in the sky! There is a particular cloud type known as lenticular cloud, which forms very solid looking disc like shapes. To the untrained eye these can sometimes look extremely impressive, and have the appearance of a huge flying saucer hovering in the air. Lenticular clouds can be any shade, from bright white to dark grey, and usually occur in the lower atmosphere.
