Aurora Borealis
This naturally occuring atmospheric light can sometimes be spectacular to look at, but is usually only seen towards the poles of the Earth. It can occur in many different glowing colours, and seem to fade in and out and shoot very fast across the sky in waves. It rarely looks like a solid defined object and appears more like a sheet of shifting light
